Day 2

Made a trip down to Santa Cruz to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Found a cool front door and a huge picture window for the cabin. Not sure if the size will work (5' x 8') and don’t think I can fit it in the van anyway so just bought the door.

After lunch, I headed to Home Depot to check out some of their windows and pick up some hardware for the foundation and floor. It looks like I may buy the two smaller windows new here since they function well and have screens already (important to have a way to get a cross breeze going).

Spent the afternoon clearing the site and measuring out the corners of the cabin and with the help of my GoPro, I’ll be documenting each day’s progress on my YouTube channel as well.
